Many years ago, the evil Hukdof was cast out as leader of the Sid Fairies after he was humiliated and defeated by the good Illumine Fairies. The new leader of the Sids, Lubron, is twice the evil of his predecessor and will stop at nothing to destroy the Illumine and their wise leader, Jarnim. But one thing was forgotten: the Illumine are not alone.

When Jarnim learns of Lubron’s plans, he turns to a young fairy named Lida. With the help of her brother and two friends, Lida embarks on a journey into a battle the young fairies cannot win on their own. Will Lida keep her faith in the great Light Spirit and fulfill her destiny? Can these four young fairies avoid the tricks of the enemy, and find the courage they need to defend their home against the forces of evil?
