Lyle A. Way was born in Spokane, Washington, and has held a variety of jobs, including working as a dairy farmer, deputy sheriff, and as a full-time staff member at Stonecroft Ministries in Kansas City, Missouri. While working at the headquarters of this international non-denomination ministry, he was asked to travel around the Midwest and Canada giving his personal testimony, which describes his conversion while in law enforcement. Six years ago, Way retired from Carillon Senior Living Center in Lubbock, Texas, after serving there as president for 22 years. In 2002, he received a bachelor of theology degree from Trinity College of the Bible in Newburgh, Indiana. He and his wife, Darlene, have been married for 48 years and are blessed with two grown children and seven grandchildren.
