When God Breathed
Judith Miles has a master’s degree in English literature and is the author of three previous Christian books: The Feminine Principle, Mind Games and Hobby Horses, and Journal From an Obscure Place. She has ministered in India and hosted with her husband many pilgrim tours of Israel. In retirement their home is continually filled with guests, and they continue today with mission work and writing.
This memoir, with a few identifying details changed, tells the story of gifted couple David and Miriam Moreland, who try, however imperfectly, to obey God's Word as they pursue their careers in public mental health and English literature.

After young psychologist David lifts an anguished, angry cry to God on a starlit Colorado night, the intellectual couple are suddenly propelled right into the middle of the Charismatic Renewal of the 1960s and 1970s.

Becoming a top national mental-health researcher-administrator, David is challenged professionally for his views of the human psyche, which have been radically redefined by the Holy Spirit.

If you think reaching modern science or academia is too tough for God, When God Breathed will challenge your assumptions while rekindling His renewal fire in your heart.
